Deals on iPhone
We don’t usually see actual discounts on the iPhone itself, but carriers are always throwing out promotions to try and entice customers to commit. When is Black Friday?
Black Friday is a holiday shopping event that typically falls on the 4th Friday of November—the day after Thanksgiving—and runs through the weekend. The most notorious and exclusive discounts, also known as ‘door busters,’ tend to start popping up late Thursday night, but nowadays it’s not uncommon for retailers to start offering Black Friday-related deals in early November. Even if a sale or promotion isn’t specifically earmarked for Black Friday, it still gets lumped in with the other holiday shopping offers.
Are Black Friday deals really worth it?
The worthiness of a promotional offer, at any time of year, really depends on your need for the product, the product itself, and the size of the discount. Retailers have garnered a reputation for using Black Friday to sell a bunch of cheaply-made merchandise at misleading sale prices, but if you are familiar with the brand/model and know the pricing history, it’s really easy to separate the good deals from the bad. You can rest assured that if you see a deal listed on iDB, we’ve already vetted it as a ‘good’ deal.
What is Cyber Monday?
Cyber Monday is essentially a continuation of Black Friday, as it falls on the following Monday. Its deals tend to be more online-only, as opposed to being available in brick and mortar stores, and historically the discounts have not been as deep or as widespread as those from the previous week.
